VISION

Young people will have access to relevant high quality career support to develop their capacity for education, training and employment futures through Structured Workplace Learning, School Based Traineeships, careers and transitions and other relevant activities.

MISSION

To coordinate relevant Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) for all students in Western NSW Region: Service Regions J and K
To identify and respond to existing and emerging Work Placement opportunities, post-school
To develop positive liaisons between stakeholders, through our innovative programs and activities
To expand the options provided by partnerships with industry and the community including employers, employer groups and cross sector education authorities
To support initiatives which involve the development of skills, knowledge and attitudes to support students’ re-engagement with education, in a safe, challenging and supportive environment
To promote and market our programs and activities
To increase effective employer participation in our programs and activities
To foster stakeholder knowledge and understanding of their roles and responsibilities, ensuring positive outcomes in all programs and activities
